Communities
Bricktown
The city’s entertainment and dining district is home to its minor league baseball stadium, and some pretty toney housing.
Automobile Alley
As the name implies, this is the former home to many of the city’s car dealers. Now home to many upscale lofts and the like.
Deep Deuce
Situated between Bricktown and the city’s growing biotech enclave, this former African American neighborhood of 50 years ago underwent a housing boom in the late ‘90s. Some real luxury addresses here.
The Arts District
The name says it all, well almost all. While this is the Museum of Art and Stage Center, among other artsy places, it also has some snazzy condos and apartments.
Asia District
Located close to Oklahoma City University, this is the state’s largest Asian neighborhood, and is home to many Vietnamese and others from Southeast Asia who rebuilt this former middle class neighborhood.
Eastside
Eclectic is an understatement. In what has become a vibrant African American community, housing ranges from public projects to expensive and just about everything in between thanks to a focused rejuvenation effort.
Adventure District
With numerous attractions on the northeast side, this also has streets lined with trees and single family housing.
Capital Hill & Riverside
Often identified as the city’s Hispanic area, these two neighborhoods are a mix of shops, restaurants and residential.
Mayfair & Belle Isle
Located on the north side of the city, these two neighborhoods are firmly in the middle of the so called middle class of Oklahoma City. Solid business district including upscale Penn Square Mall. Lake Hefner is nearby.
Nichols Hill & The Village
Exclusive shopping. Exclusive housing.
Quail Springs/Memorial Corridor
More upscale suburbia. Much more. The locus of many new housing tracts.
Airport Heights
OKC’s south side, this is home to the Will Rogers Airport and many, many hotels.
